Nikita ran down the sidewalk, a half eaten loaf of bread in her mouth, "Gotta. Keep. Running..." she thought to herself.
A she reached an Ally, she set the loaf down, inhailing the breads delicouse scent. Her collar dangling from her neck as she took a bite out of it, savoring the taste, "YUM!" she smiled as her tail wagged back and forth.

That's right, Nikita wasn't a stray, though she got out most of the time to run around. It was boring ever since her owners son went to Collage, he was her best friend.

But that was over now, what really mattered was this loaf of bread!! "Why must humans make such delicouse food, and not give us anything but that bland chow!"

Talon slinked into a cardboad box he watched as the rain poured down and sighed as his stomach growled. he grunted and shifted backwards into the box; hopefuly tomorrow he could get some food otherwise his only option would be to catch rats and they would probably make him ill.

She hadn't finished the loaf of bread yet, and her stomach was already full. That's when it started to rain. It was cold but her warm, thick pelt kept her warm. "I can't take this home..." she thought not wanting to leave it here though.

She looked over to see a box with a stray in it. Something made her bring it over.

He was skinny and looked weak, and she felt sorry, "Um... Hi, you can have this loaf of bread, I can't eat it all... and I have to get back to my owner..." she nudged the loaf of bread to him.

Talon shifted round and looked the new dog in the eyes, he glanced at the bread uncertainly and said "why would you want to help me?" he sniffed the bread and drew it closer to him, he munched on it and went "thanks anyway"

Ella slowly walked down the dark alley. It was spooky here. She had been abandoned days ago. "I only chewed on one little slipper... It's not my fault..."She thought. Something clattered behind her, making her jolt into a sprint. She ran, straight out of the alley, down the road, and ran right into one of those boxes humans kept food and paper in. The door smacked shut behind her.

"Oh no! I'm trapped!"She yelped. Ella ran toward the lid, jumped, and smacked into it. It didn't move. She sighed. "Of course. I bet I'll even starve here! A human food-box with no food!" She curled up and rested her head on her paws, hoping, just hoping, that she would wake up from this horrid dream.

"I wanted to help you becuase you seemed hungrey, no dog should starve!" she smiled tail wagging, "I'm Nikita. Call me Niki! But for now, I must go! My owner will be missing me..." she turned away dashing out of the Ally, turning to the right to go back home.

As she reached her home, she whimperd at the back glass door. Her owner looked at her and opned the door, "Let me dry you up before you go anywere else!"

As she was dried up, her owner went back to waching some weird TV show. She walked to her bed in the living room and cuddled up.

Ella woke up. Looking around, she remembered where she was. She sighed, and her stomach growled, as if it was mocking her. "Yes, you useless brat, I know I'm hungry. Thanks for reminding me."

She howled, trying to catch someone's attention. She turned, then walked toward the wall. The container began to roll. She kept walking, than, SMACK! She ran into something. "It must be a human house! HELP!!!!" She howled.

Nika tossed and turned, thinking about the homeless dogs around the world, and in her town, ""How terrible it must be..."her eyes teared up, thinking about the dog she had given the bread too. She moaned, wanting to help but not being able to.

Ella howled, louder, louder, until her voice broke and she could do nothing but whimper. (Aud, can i be outside your house?)

Niki heard the howl and whimpering, as the owners awoke and looked outside they opened the door and picked her up, "Oh my! What precouse little thing!!" cleaning up the dog they set her by Niki, "Keep her warm and be nice."

"Hiya!" Niki wagged her tail, exited to meet the new dog, "I'm Nikita! Call me Niki! This is my home, but I welcome you!"

"H-hi.." Ella whimpered. "I-I am Ella. What was that th-thing?" Ella's body is shivering from te cold, and she is dwarfed compared to Niki, made even smaller by the fact she is starving.

"Thing? What thing?" she barked, her peppy attitude was full of joy, "Oh, you hungrey? I have some extra food." She pointed her nose to the food bowl.

"That…big thing… that came… and left mme … here" Ella explains as she eats ravenously, and quite loudly.

"Hrm... I don't know what your talking about..." She lad her head on her paws tired, "If you want there's a spot here for you..." Yawning she went to sleep.
